It would encourage quantity over quality.

A persons level of activity is pretty meaningless in my opinion. It is more a quality not quantity thing. There is no reason to rank the community on something so irrelevant.

Not to mention the fact that if this became a regular list that they put out, it would encourage people to spam the forums with meaningless posts just so they could be number one.
