We are soldiers without borders, our purpose defined by the era we live in. This is our Heaven, and our Hell.
With the ending of Halo 3, we know the accounts of Mendicant, Didact, and the Librarian to an extent. These are only hidden in terminals of course. We also know that Chief and Cortana are drifting into the orbit of a mysterious planet with Forerunner symbols on it.
My question is, when 343 was writing Halo 4, do you think they were given a ton of information by Bungie, or do you think they analyzed Halo 3 repeatedly and tried to piece together a story based on context and imagination?
I kind of feel like Bungie had a big chat with 343 about the direction of the story before they started writing. I don't think they would just leave the story direction so wide open to 343's first Halo game. What do you think?
This will probably NEVER get answered by a Bungie Member, but perhaps they could shed light on the subject (to an extent)?
So guys, how much secret info do you think Bungie gave to 343i for the start of the new trilogy?
