Like I said, the shade and name of the color is not important. What's important is the fact that MC's armor color changed and it's not dust or mud. And since the "GREEN" coating come off when hit by energy, the logical conclusion is that the armor IS hit by energy. but I digress. Color did change and I don't give a damn what shade it's in.
Your changing the context of your own posts. You start a thread about how the Master Chief's armor isn't green anymore, and post images saying the master chief's armor isn't green, and when you're called on it, you say the color's not important. Interesting.
But he is NOWHERE NEAR the shade he was in Halo 2. Although he does have a little green in him, it is considerably less than in Halo 2. Before you say anything about me being colorblind, I'll let you know I have very good color perception, and 20/15 vision.
It can't be all dirt. For two reasons: one, dirt does not cover that eavenly, nor perserve the texture under it. If it was dirt, the rest of his armor should look like his lower legs. It obviously does not.
Personally, I like the idea of long, consitant exposure to low-level radiation or plasma, like that he may have recieved in the Forerunner ship and the energy beam. He clearly did not make it into the main compartment. He may have had the coating (paint, shielding, whatever it was) of his suit stripped off here.
Good point.
p.s. guys, bbl. Have to study for exam.
oh, also
"The fact that the color changed does matter
What shade of color? not important."
