isn't it mathematically impossible for everyone to be positive?

Technically not if you consider that guests don't have their stats recorded.

haha but still, someone has to go negative for everyone to be positive.

PSR = (((K+A)/D)*Win%)*120
The average player's PSR = 100

Not true. There needs to be a death for every kill, but you could have one person go really positive or one person go really negative, and then have everyone else fairly close to even. Sometime there is just that one guy who dominates a whole team, or the one guy who gets dominated for a whole game.

Guests and the fact that every time you kill a vehicle with someone in it, it counts as a kill as well.

the guest has to go negative though and for the people who die in the vehicles it counts as a death.

You kill someone in a banshee, you get a kill for the banshee and a kill for the person. You are 2-0, they are 0-1. Then they kill you while you are in a banshee. They get a kill for killing you and a kill for killing the banshee. You are both 2-1 then. Of course, this is just theoretical, but possible.

Also, at the end of the day, no on cares if guests go neg since they have no permanent stats.

uhm, if vehicles counted as an extra kill then destroying the vehicle with a person in it would surely give you a double kill ?

i've never seen or noticed that destroying a vehicle with a person inside gives me an extra point, most of the time the odd points comes from black screens where as in a game with no black screens and i destroy vehicles i don't get anything out of the ordinary, every vehicles destroyed gives me a point depending on how many people are in the vehicle.

My bad con, I misread that last one. Thought you were saying one person has to be pos for every person thats neg... So, yes, at least one person needs to go negative in each game.

Here is an example.

As you can clearly see, I had 36 points and 0 penalties. If you go to carnage, it says I have 39 kills, meaning 3 of my kills were on people in vehicles. So I got the credit for 6 kills while only 3 people died on the other team. It is possible but it doesn't make much of a difference.
