Grenades are not something you throw just because you see bad guys. Make sure you know where your squad is at, make sure it’s only the bad guys you’re gonna blow up, then chuck the damage.

Haven't seriously played the game for a year. Played some time in September. And, honestly, I don't plan play it again. But I'm interested, were developers able to fix some bad balance mistakes they made? Was there any good Title Update?

So, my problems were:
1. Armor Lock
2. Sword Block
3. Double Melee

Was any of these fixed?

P.S. "Author rams babies" was fun. Eh, good old times.

Also, about that fake "New helmet DLC" spotted in the Defiant Map Trailer. Was there any official commentary about that? Some kids were on rampage proving it's real. Was fun to read.

The new March Update made the TU pointless because they removed AL and Squad Slayer so now we get Super Slayer. A retarded TU Team Slayer variant with community maps, AL, and no bleedthrough.

David Ellis from 343 confirmed that they were experimenting with putting new armor in the Defiant and Anniversary map packs but it was eventually scrapped.

Shame, shame. Looks like games never change so much. Something gets fixed, something other gets screwed.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

There was a title update a few months ago, here are the main differences it made when you play a gametype labeled "TU":

-Bloom is 85% as strong as it normally was, making your shots less random and more accurate. (You can play MLG for Zero bloom whatsoever)

-If you get stuck and go into Armor Lock, you still die. Also, the more damage you take while in AL, the faster you are forced to exit AL.

-Sword Block is gone

-Active Camo now runs out faster and you get no bonus for standing perfectly still (originally, you could make Camo's timer run out slower by not moving)

-The melee system was changed to Halo 3's version (when you have a tiny bit of shields left and take a punch, you die) HOWEVER, 343 just nuked this idea and double melee is a problem again. -.-

-If you play a gametype called Anniversary, it is basically the TU with different movement speeds and jump heights with a 3 shot kill magnum.

EDIT: and the new helmet: 343 was going to put new armor into the game, but due to budget and time restraints, they couldn't get it done. Instead, the placed a mini doll with that weird helmet on every map in the Anniversary Map Pack

Thanks for the replies.

Also, I remember a thing that made me rage everytime - Infection-Betrayal. It occured when a human and a zombie kill each other simultaneously and the human gets "Betrayal" because at the time he scored a kill he was a zombie already. Is it gone?

I know that friendly fire was turned off, so I would assume that the glitch doesn't happen.
