Boltshot = mini shotgun

Just a question I've been thinking about.
Reliable, as in whether you can judge someone's skill by their stats or not. Does it have to be a certain amount of games played, number of kills, number of individual playlist games, etc.?
I consider stats reliable for playlists if at least 50 games have been played in it. For overall K/D and kills, about 500 matchmaking games have to be played.

Everything can be boosted.

The best bet that you can try for when it comes to skill is a combination of Win/Loss and their Kill/Death ratio.

Judging by stats really isn't reliable but if you must.

PSR is probably the best I've seen.

PSR = (((K+A)/D)*Win%)*120
The average player's PSR = 100

True. I forgot about the boosting factor.

Over 100 games played in a playlist and judge them by playlists instead of overall k/d. Oh and win/loss but that can be "boosted" by playing with full teams all the time vs. searching solo.

A player with a squad slayer 1.75 k/d and 56% w/l playing solo can be better than a player with a squad slayer 2.17 k/d and a 85% w/l playing with full teams. Playing with a full team usually* makes you a better player

I go and look up if the person played the Halo 3 Campaign on Legendary, most of the active Halo 3 Player sure finished the fight on legendary ;)

MLG w/l and k/d depending on how many games they've played.

For example, I am more impressed with a 1.3 k/d over 3000 MLG games with a 55% w/l than a 1.9 k/d over 50 games with a 90% w/l

However Halo 3 high skill is still the best we have.

My PSR is 21,996.2088

who cares? judge your own game play.

When I win i'm better and when i don't win i'm not better. Even if in the game I win I go -6 and in the game i don't win i go +12.

That Rule is not really accurate. 50% is the average winning percentage and 1.2 in the average K+A/D
