Subject: What's so bad about Armor Lock?

Maybe this will answer your question.

Win.

Armor lock seems kind of useless in my opinion. Only real use is blocking explosives, otherwise someone is just going to stand next to you and wait for you to exit it.

If you mess up you die, its that simple

I can understand blocking explosions, but deflecting it? Actually scratch that, Armour Lock shouldn't even be in this game.

I shouldn't waste a rocket on a guy going Super Saiyan.

I will be a legend some day. So, befriend me before it's too late.

I'll tell you what's wrong with it: Practicality. Now, if you could use AL for a much longer period of time, then it would be useful. But think, if it's actual people piloting the vehicle, they would most likely stop then wait for you to come out to shoot/run you down. It's anti-grenade function is also unpractical. It hardly works for Plasma grenades and you can just run from a frag. My recommendation is just use a plasma pistol for vehicles, and dodge grenades.

I agree with SGT. Commando(below), it takes much practice and mastering of it to even begin to find a small use for it.

Armor Lock is an extremely difficult AA to use. Only the most experience players can use it. It takes years to master the art of Armor Lock. Those who despise it simply arent skilled enough to use it. Then there will be people who call me out because of this post, they are obviously in denial :}

Anyone who claims the AR takes skill ought to shoot himself in the head. Preferably with the AR because they'll most likely miss with any other weapon.

Reach is total garbage. I'm proud it failed and died. Hope this message gets to 343 and they make a proper game.

Quit competitive Halo, I have acquired something called "having a life". Play it time to time as of now. Some people should also try this thing called "having a life".

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Plasma pistol/grenade launchers ends vehicle rampages.

Choose another loadout you could be doing a lot more for your team rather than just putting yourself in bad situations which is what armour-lock is designed for.

Frank O'Connor said he doesn't think the Halo series needs to be taken in a radical new direction... it just needs to go "deeper"

"Ultimately the core game mechanic and strength of the universe doesn't need to be changed, it just needs to be taken deeper. We want to make Halo games - we don't want to make Call of Duty or Ridge Racer. We want to make Halo games because we understand what's special about Halo."

How about you tell me what's good about it first.

I don't need a specialized burger; I stack BKs on my own.

I suppose nothing is wrong with it if you're horrible and don't understand the effect it has on gameplay.

It's funny though because using it won't keep me from destroying you.

But to feed the troll: It's essentially a pause button in the middle of the game.
