Subject: How will we upload files as of April 1st?

As most of you know, as of April 1st Bungie will no longer hold their file sharing system. So we will no longer be able to share maps, photos, or clips with others.
Will 343 be making a file share in the near future.

You may find your answer if you posted this on 343's forums instead.

If a Grunt has a sticky stuck to his head, and no one is around to see or hear it, does it still run in circles screaming,"Get it off, Get it off !"?

Correct. And by "near future" you mean Summer. Which is a long time away from the end of March.

"Bungie will no longer be able to update game stats and player service records". That means Bungie.net will not be able to host any additional Halo data (they said they'll hold what they've got, though). So it's up to 343 whether or not they'll have a fileshare on their site.

The file share isn't going anywhere, in fact I'm pretty sure everyone is getting a 24 slot file share come April 1st. However files will not be seen here on Bungie.net, and 343 will integrate them into their site in the summer, so until then they will only been seen in-game.

Underneath "Whats next for Halo Waypoint":
http://halo.xbox.com/blogs/Headlines/post/2012/02/02/The-Halo -Bulletin-2112.aspx

"Starting on April 1, we will be increasing Halo: Reach File Share capacity from 6 slots to 24 slots at no extra charge. All Halo: Reach files, including films, screenshots, game types, and maps, will continue to be fully accessible in-game, just like they are today. We're also excited to announce that we are bringing Halo: Reach File Share access to the web version of Halo Waypoint this summer. After March 31, there will be a short period where new Halo: Reach user-generated content will not be accessible from the web."

So, basically, yes 343i will have a file browser service, however there will be a short period between when bungie's shuts down and theirs becomes active.

From bungie.net? You can't. Not unless Bungie does some super secret stuff and edits their site so you can.
