i think brute chieftan would they are much stronger and chieftans carry gravaty hammers ,elites carry swords ,yea im not dissing the sword cause the sword is cooler than the hammer but sword against hammer the hammer always wins cause its just way more stronger

I believe that you forgot "Sentinel Enforcer"

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

The Elite would be unable to get close to the Chieftain, because of the Hammer's reach and shockwave effect.

Depends what they are armed with...

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

The Zealot would win because they are the best evar.

Neither are more challenging (at least if they only have melee weapons). A Hunter pair is a more durable and dangerous opponent (except in CE).

But if you mean in a fight,

CE Zealot > H3 Chieftains

CE Goldie has EMP sword (Chieftain's power armor would go down in one hit), big melee radius (so the hammer explosion wouldn't be much help), crazy leaping action (whereas Chieftain needs to first activate Invincibility to start leaping), good shield and fast movement, possesses recklessness (so even if he goes down, the Chieftain will go down with him), and fires weapons in long yet accurate bursts.

Applying gameplay mechanics are we? Well in that case, the Chieftain can just make a vortex with his Gravity hammer and suck the Zealot inside, poof, dead Elite.

the zealot jump before the hammer hits the ground, and lunge in for a kill.

Too bad that Hammer vs Sword always results in Hammer winning.

yeah but a smart person with a sword can kill a stupid person with a hammer. My Griffball record will prove that.

Lost my old account long ago ( darkops0 :[ )... Halo forever! :3
and back for awhile xD

Depending... Brutes aggressive attacks make it easier IMO to take em out xD

Zealots? They dodge a lot, but have pretty thick shields... And are smart. Soooo....

but don't underestimate a brute chieftan. He can't get that high of a rank through streangth alone.

I'm just making a first person shooter observation. Afaik, gravity hammer is a big hammer that produces a shockwave when slamming against an object and has a bladed side.

Edit:

Now that I think of it, is the hammer shockwave like the initial wave from an artillery shell? In that case, the Chieftain would win. But if it's harmless, the Chieftain's screwed.
