Ok, so first of all, yes I know we won't be able to edit nameplates after 31st March anyway. Which is why I want to sort this out now.

I have two B net profiles, I made another one, PeteRoyale, when I changed my gamertag so they'd match. Since then I've changed my tag again, and now I want to move my tag back to my original profile.

Does this make you lose your nameplates and also does it make you lose your Halo 2 stats?

I think you might have already lost your Halo 2 stats when you changed your gamertag mate.
But other than that one it won't affect them. I think changing your gamertag might invalidate the Halo 2 and Halo: Reach Beta ones but that's it as far as I know.

Ah I remember now - your H2 stats only come back if you play with your latest tag - so if I moved back to this profile, I would have to play Halo 2 with my new tag for them to reappear... and there's no chance of playing it now :P

My nameplates have stayed since I changed my gamertag, but I'm wondering if I'll lose them if I swap profiles.

If you look at my PeteRoyale profile, the H2 stats are still there, but I changed my tag after Halo 2 went offline so they'll disappear if I swap probably.

Edit: Well I swapped and it actually did the reverse!

After 31st March, my H2 stats disappeared from my service record, I guess cos the gamertags were different.

But now that I've swapped profiles, the Halo 2 stats are now back on my H3/ODST service record and now have my current gamertag on them!
