Has annyone ever played halo 2 using the AI teamates to help? They are highly intelligent, never run out of ammo and if given a decent weapon, can really make the game interesting!

Halo 3 needs more control over AI freindlies, like GRAW. Use tactics to take out snipers or destroy armies. But if you want, keep the run 'n gun style. You choose. This will add a whole new dimnension to the game.

All they have to do to add it to halo 2 is add 3 options: Wait/hide, attack and defend. (D pad)
(I know that is impossible, the code is set, but I can dream)

What other depth could be added?

I love giving a marine/ elite a rocket launcher then go on a vehicle killing spree in a hog/ spectre.
But im sick of seeing my allies run blindly into a fight, to be cut down by turrets or sniper fire. We need control over our AI buddies, and i agree all we need is three simple buttons on the D-pad

This way the down button can still be used to switch the position of the gun for machinima

Stats Don't Mean Anything If You Cheat

As well as contol over their basic actions it would be alot nicer if you could choose which marine would go in the side seat of the warthog - a sniper in that side seat is just carnage with his crazy shots

One of the neat things about Brute force was when you told an AI character to go somewhere, a little arrow pointed at the ground. You could move that arrow forwards backwards and all over the place to desginate where you wanted that particular AI to go. THAT was a neat feature that I wouldn't mind if Halo 3 used it ;)
