If they're trying to add a backstory to multiplayer then Spartan IIs or IIIs wouldn't make sense.

But we have no idea how deep they are going to get into this ''explanation''. They could just say ''Oh, it's a combat simulator''.

And it's done.

343i: "RvB is canon."

You know you want it to be true.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

What do I think? I think the Halo canon is going to end up just as fouled up as the Zelda canon if this kind of stuff is allowed.

Do I really care? No. As far as I'm concerned, there's Bungie Halo, and everything else.

I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

Seems like a pretty weak idea to me. Oh look, a brand new Spartan program, who didn't see that coming. I mean if this was years later then sure, but it's pretty recent in Halo's timeline.

your very much mistaken.

I AM ROYALTY

I am freaking pumped for this game. After I saw the First Look trailer I flipped out. This game looks amazing and the story behind multiplayer and the SIV is very interesting. I'm just hoping they don't make it like Assassin's Creed where its just a simulation, that would be unoriginal. I think that the red and blue are two religous factions with completley different ways of life, and they are fighting over their holy land. Or maybe its just like a turf war, and the two gangs need land to run their operation, or like two opposing countries. I don't know, I'm just really, really excited.
