Think about it, we haven't seen any of the Covenant planets. We also haven't seen any frigates or seraphs in combat. These are just two of the tons of things they can do in halo 3. What I am saying is that, they could send us to a real COvenant planet, have us fly a seraph somewhere.........WOW, brai.........brain.....................fre................fre ezing........

Its Halo. What do you Covenant home worlds have to do with Forerunner? Seraphs can be shown quickly in a short cut scene anywayz.

I believe we have seen a covenant planet... High Charity. It's the covenant's home world is it not?

Hi charity was a covenant world.

As the Covenant is exactly that "a covenant" they all have different worlds. I'd like to see the Elite's homeworld. I really like elites and I think they may side with the humans. In the Conversations from the Universe booklet they seem respectful of humans.

Humans are weak, but they are tenacious. Even the smallest ones hurtle themselves against our defenses with honor. If only the Unggoy (Grunts) were as committed.

>>> I wonder about the Humans, Commander. Their technology is limited, but some of it is useful and their battle techniques are impressive. They are excellent strategists. But what I ask is this: Why have we not offered them the absolution of the Covenant? From the beginning of this war, the Prophets have made no attempt to absorb them or even offer them the option of honorable submission. Why?

Perhaps they fear them? We do not know where their homeworld is. Their pattern of retreat is either hopelessly random, or brilliantly conceived. What if the Humans have more power, more numbers than we suspect? What if they lead us into a trap?

>>> No. I do not think that is their reasoning. They continue to lose territory, and pattern or no pattern, these defenses must be part of a perimeter. I suspect we are forcing them into a tighter arena than they care to fight in -- soon, we may be able to use the Sharaquoi. And their victories, however few, always rely on the same thing -- strategy, brute force, or luck. No. The only secret they hold is the location of their homeworld.

What about the atrocity at Halo? That was not luck, nor brute force. The Demon is a mystery. He outwitted and outfought entire legions on Halo. Perhaps there are more like him?

>>> I do not believe that. We have seen their kind before and destroyed them. Their numbers have dwindled and there have been no reported sightings since our victory at Reach.

Then why do we continue to hunt them? When surely they merit consideration to accept and embrace the Covenant?

>>> Let us discuss this at a more prudent moment. A Jiralhanae (Brute) approaches.

Imagine...

Extream Multi Disk Final Fantasy Style! (I don't mean the game is like Final Fantasy, that would suck, I mean that the game is FREAKIN HUGE and expansive)

Stats Don't Mean Anything If You Cheat

lol imagine turn based battles with a spartan party and his limit breaks have the halo 2 original e3 level actually finishing and having MC stick the enemy just lol but anyway i hope the single player aint overly drawn out but about the same length of H1

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

halo 3 is said to be the last game in this story arc so maybe more halos not necesarily fpss will be made, revealing more of the halo universe.
halo was originally intended as an rts for pc and mac...

I'd love to have an RTS or somekind of KOTOR style RPG after the story is finished.

Halo 3 is really just the second half of Halo 2, but I hope it's stretched out to be longer then the previous two. As the last in the series, it must explain more about the Forerunners to us and about the origins of the Flood and so forth while still taking care of the fate of the Halo's and what not.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

is it me or is the way the plot is told in the halo trilogy simlar to the star wars prequals?
the first ones introduces us to the whole concept of a halo and anakin, then leaves it for a few months/years before the second one starts, revealing a larger story that is concluded in the last one

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3
