If you change one thing, everything else has to change with it, or the game won't feel right.The game actually felt good with bleed through though. Before bleed through, I'd never use anything but the DMR or a power weapon.
With bleed through, I'd go around and I could use the AR, plasma pistol, plasma repeater, etc. They had their purposes - most of them as melee extensions, but that's a whole helluva lot more skillful than just double tapping the melee button as you sprint around a corner.
Exactly. It made those "weapons you see, but never pick up because you have a DMR" more valid, as they are good at picking through shields, where you could land a pummel.
And I hate the sprint+double melee combos. Why not 3 melees, for those who don't support bleedthrough?Pretty much. But nah, we don't want that variety round here. We'd rather just have more DMR and power weapon only encounters while herp derping each other with double melees. Ah, Reach.
