Stop Telling Me To Veto

The Sharquoi is the Covenant name for a Elite.

Taken from Halopedia:

The Sangheili, or Elites as the Humans call them, are the iron heart of the Covenant military.

When you look up Sharquoi, you are redirected to the Drinol:

The Drinol are Covenant bosses that did not make it into Halo 2 and it is unknown if they will be featured in future products. It should be noted that a large Flood form has been found encoded in the Halo 2 disc in the same way as the Engineers of Halo 1, this could be the infected form of a Drinol.

Do some research before you post something like this.

Sorry but Sangheili and Sharquoi look somewhat alike. Plus I don't have the Official Halo 2 Guide in front of my face right now.

I think they're some sort of special-ops squad the covenant plan to use to eliminate the UNSC's leadership. What do you think?

That's a fine theory, but the Elite's are already the Spec Op's invaders of the Covenatnt forces, I still think that they are just big tanky monsters, and I really hope that we get to see one in the game, or even the movie

I believe that the Sharquoi are huge, nigh-invincible members of the covenant and they are rarely deployed because they are few in number and hard to control, also, they may be left on doomed planets and glassed like everything else to hide their existence from the humans.

Quite frankly, i am of the opinion that the sharquoi are NOT in fact the Drinol, in spite of their internet link... that would be too easy. I imagine that they have some sort of religious significance, one that prohibits their deployment on dying worlds and in doomed campaigns. if they were glassed with doomed planets, then their use would not be circumstantial, and they would not be held in the reverence that they seem to be held in. It almost seems as though the Sharquoi are either a brand new species as yet unintroduced, or a unique division of one of the races that we have already become acquainted with. However, the amount of speculation and mystery surrounding this subject is such that drawing any conclusive results from any sort of analysis would be a fruitless gesture. and so, this leads me to the somewhat vague conclusion that the only thing to do is simply.... wait for H3 like good little fanboys and girls

The real enemy in Gears of War.

The legend of Croatoan

I think they would use the Sharquoi now because since the Elites Grunts and Hunters have left the Covenant. The Covenant need to make up for lost "muscle power". So they bring in the Sharquoi to do that.

The Flood Juggernaut and Drinol were left out cuz they were TOO BIG, the game literally read them as vehicles so they ran over normal units
And because of the people rushing the game, Bungie decided to take them out

you must also remember that bungie took out the juggernaut flood from the game. now what could create such a large flood? well what do we know thats in bungies history and is really really big? and the tablet shows that it looks like a drinol aswell. and on the bonuis dvd someone said that the drinol/sharquoi, was cged by the covenant and not really set to engage enemys, but is more "unleashed" into the enemies lines...

i believe that the Sharquoi are the elite of the elite. the highest trained combateers of the covenant...higher than the special ops soldiers..i believe this to be a relevant theory because i read this 1 fan fic that mentioned soldiers of high ranks that were trained by another race (totally seperate)..............but just another theory, and i have more but just think about this
