So, recently, Bungie.net's "Bungie Community" forum went past 3000 pages of threads with posts dating back to 2004 back on that 3001st.

In such a cornucopia and amazing gathering of discussion that, while repetitive at times, has kept us all entertain for however long we've been frequenting or visiting the Septagon, there is a large amount of really quality threads and discussions.

So, looking back on over 7 years of this forum, what're some of your favorite threads that some people may not know about? While you can obviously pick some from this year, older ones that accent the vast diversity of threads in the forum would be better.

So, in layman's terms, what're some of your favorite threads from the past 3000 pages and why?

Give me a moment, I'll post the thread that gave us that 3000th page.

Here it is, admire it and all it's glory.

To look up my Halo stats...search for the gamertag TopWargamer.
SAVED THREAD PAGES: 283
One does not simply get rid of TopWargamer so easily.
You know this to be true.

Congrats community!

And shame I can't think of a thread.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

That thread that suggested an ignore user button to the site, I really liked that thread.

I think the FAQ on Bungie.net Member Titles / Prefixes / Bar Colors deserves mentioning; Duardo does a great job with the original post.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

Yeah, I mentioned this in the titles thread a few days ago.
Here's to 10,000 more I guess.

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

Despite being here for a very long time, I don't have many memories of this forum. Because in the New Hawtness era, New Mombasa was vastly superior to the Septagon.

That's not opinion, that's fact.

Well sure if you want to compare it to the Flood...

Positive vibes.

Comparatively, no, but relatively, I believe 3,000 pages of threads is quite the milestone.

Found this puppy in my saved threads.

Fairly certain there is 25 topics a page, so 3000 pages is pretty impressive.

That is a pretty decent milestone! Lets make it another great 3000.

Nice! So how come the thread is still open? Nedus should have locked it and banned the thread maker by now.

I took a trip Year 3000...

It's cool to see. Not a huge accomplishment, but a yay is in order. Yay.

Not to argue over numbers, but the Flood has the most threads by 4,000 (over Halo 3).

Just sayin'.

But in all honesty, 3000 is quite a milestone when you consider the relatively slow pace this forum has moved at in the past and the fact that the Community Forum's been "up" for more than 7 years.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

How sweet. Lots of good threads.
