Is there any thing I can do to feel more like a helpful and respectful member of this fine community?

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

Participation is probably the best thing. Join some private groups, make quality replies, be helpful and be active.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Private Groups are no doubt the best place to get to know members better and start making alliances.

Post on the mains will get you there too, but much slower and ineffectively.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Here, drink this and pay no attention to the crushed pill sediment at the bottom of the glass.

Oh wait, that is how to become the center of attention at a party.

I got nothin'.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Well, just be yourself... Give or take a few (a LOT) aspects of yourself. Post often, and just get to know some of the members here :)

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

Don't try to be anything but yourself. I've seen far too many people here try to be something, or try to stand out in the crowd which resulted in their efforts making them look foolish and as such they likely accomplished the opposite to what they initially desired.

Just do what you enjoy doing here, and in time you'll make acquaintances and meet friends... This will likely result in you feeling like you've made your own place within the Community, without actually having tried to do anything at all.

Pretty much what he said.

If you're a tryhard, people will hate you.

If you're a suck up, people will really hate you.

If you're a sack rider, people will really, really hate you.

If you are just one of the rest of the herd, everything will be fine.

Who the hell do you think I am?

Just be respectful to everyone and make quality posts, and in maybe a couple months you'll be somewhat well known.
