Multiple Bungie.Net accounts are not recommended. They are used (many times) in attempts to get around Bungie.Net discipline and/or security.
We tend to blacklist members with multiple accounts.
Bragging about them publicly is unwise, especially if you place any value on the account that you are bragging with.
With the xbox 360 all accounts have to be linked to a .net passport. That esentially means that some people will end up having more one bungie.net account. Will that be wrong?
An individual with multiple passports is unrelated to their Bungie.Net account(s).
Millions of people have a MS Passport and do not have Bungie.Net accounts. Someone who has multiple active accounts on this site is bypassing one of the core principles of this site. When interacting on the forums, I am who I appear to be.
Having a secondary, or tertiary (or more) account opens the door to site and forum abuse. A good example is someone using two accounts to "converse" in a thread. They are actually and intentionally bumping, but by using two accounts, it is harder to detect.
This discussion belongs in The Septagon. We'll get much clearer and authoritative replies there. Standby while I relocate it.
I fully understand what you are saying. Microsoft is working hard on intigrating xbox live, msn messenger, your friends lists, etc...... This is being done through the .net passport network. An xbox 360 can have up to 32 accounts per machine now. If a person chooses to have multiple accounts then that person should be able to sign into Bungie with each account to view messages, stats, etc.... Without having to worry about those accounts being blacklisted.
Now back to what you said, I do believe that anyone found to be abusing the system using multiple accounts should be blacklisted.
Also to get the Bungie.net logo behind all of your gamertags you have to create an account on Bungie.net for each gamertag.
