Stop Telling Me To Veto

I think it would be a great feature to have footprints it would make it more realistic. This could help in both Campain and Multiplayer.

Man, this is the most random post I have seen in while... but strangely, I sort of agree with the footprints thing...

It would definately tell you where the person you are chasing went haha. Also in snow maps the footprints would dissapear after a while.

Maybe they should also have vehicle tracks. This could add a stealth aspect for covenant vehicles that float.

I have the mind of a ten year old in a sixteen year old body.... I'm a supermodel!!!

I think the footprint idea is good but not for every map. you have to keep some levels for stealth and complete suprise attacks. make it on snowy levels and have them disapear after a while.

There were vehicle tracks in Halo 1. Why're they gone?

Of course they would disapear after a while. Also there wouldn't be footprints on stone and metal (Ex: Lockout & the hanging rafter in Headlong), but there should be on dirt and snow (Ex: Coagulation & Containment)

Like the man who invented the peanut butter and jelly sandwich... so simple, yet... so amazing.

Great idea . . . and I can almost guarantee that I'll be the first guy to follow a set of tracks excitedly around a corner or to a rock and look up just in time to get the crap beat out of me.

I think you should be able to leave a footprint. Also I think you should be able to stomp through whatever you're standing on. Like you could stomp through the stone, then stomp through the ground and hit an underground river spewing water all over the map!!!

That wouldn't make sense. Drowning yourself along with you team. Plus you can't shoot under water.

  • 05.25.2006 1:54 PM PDT

Maybe everyone could transform into rumble sharks!

I agree, odd...but that would be pretty cool.
Imagine playing 1 VS 1 split screen, and you can follow your buddy's footprints. The guy can even lea the follower into a trap if the follower isnt careful.

footprints would be cool. it would be funny if you know someone is following your footprints, so you run in different ways and make your footprints go in circles.

Hopefully Bungie may take a look at this and possibly puts it in the game.

That is an excellent idea... Of course if should depend on what type of terrain Master Chief is walking on. Metal wouldn't create any footprints, but maybe sand, dirt, snow, or even grass could have a footprint system.
