The last two games contained intense action and superior gameplay, especially when you had marines fighting alongside you (vehicles, grenades, screams and warcries), and it was these moments that made me first fall in love with Halo (Silent Cartographer anyone?). But here is a thought... all of these were but little skirmishes (8 marines vs a couple of squads of elites and grunts). HOW ABOUT A WAR!!! 100's of marines fighting off thousands of covenant troops, warthogs, tanks, ghosts, banshees, grenades flying everywhere. Picture this...Sarge and you and a squad of marines are pinned down in a demolished building. Hundreds of Covenant are outside. Sarge calls in artillery and reinforcements while you make a charge out of the building. As you run out of the building you see 15 pelicans in route and after clearing an LZ, then systematically drop off squads and squads of Marines. The Covenant freak out and call in their own reinforcements. ALL OUT CARNAGE!!!
