It takes time to publish on separate platforms. I believe they only recently decided to support chrome.
Like I said in my original post it is stated on the moai site how Chrome was available from day 1.
And here is another link where Weisman and Aljernon discuss the build. About 1/3 of the way down (under "Testing on PCs as well as devices") you will read a reference to Moai's native hosts ... thats the Chrome host. Developed and tested on this environment first, and after to the iPad for testing.
What is disappointing is this whole "It takes time to publish on separate platforms" myth, that bungie seems happy to support and use as a rational for the staggered platform releases.
Disappointing because bungie (with that same mouth) then runs off shallow platitudes as how the 'support' the Indie startup community ... and yet they are happy to backhand the efforts by groups such as moai by endorsing these myths. It's not the time spent developing it, it's the time of making it available on that platform. The entire process for Chrome Apps can be found here. Also, I'm sure there was a point where Bungie was deciding what platforms to release it for. I don't think they would delay the release for Google Chrome for absolutely no reason.
