Don't like my username? It solved world hunger. Don't like my gamertag? It can divide by zero. *INCEPTION FACE*

Personally don't know what to expect. I would think they are saving the good stuff for Halo 5 & 6 since it will be on new console.

My predictions

MAIN ENEMY: Forerunner AI
SECONDARY: Covenant

Also, throw in a Rampant Cortana...ONI could play a role here.

Then, you have Forerunners and Precursor(s) who I believe will both be fighting to sway Chief to their side.

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

I could be a completely new species, who knows.

I thought that the xbox 720 was just a rumor that wasn't true because there is absolutely no need to replace the 360, unlike the original xbox and live which were outdated and needed to be replaced.

As the Famous Philosopher Rick Astley once said: "Never going to give you up, Never going to let you go, Never going to turn around and desert you....."

I think it'll be really cool if the UNSC decommission the Master Chief and in revenge he sets out and the UNSC then become the enemy's. Imagine that fighting Spartans in the campaign.

In my opinion I think this will not be far from the truth. One of my theories as to who the new enemy will be is a soldier/military program developed to replace the Sparatan II's(Master Chief). This new program becomes the major enemy of the Chief and he has to fight it/them for his survival.

I don't care what you do, just shut up and drive!

The mech is a Cyclopes from Halo Wars. As for the new enemies, the precursers seemed to be an angle 343 used in the CE terminals, which could be a hint to the new enemies. I also believe the Covenant will be back with new species. The planet is also probably a 'shield world' like in Ghosts of Onyx and Halo Wars, which could mean a possible forerunner presence.

The Covenant will be returning, but there will also be an enemy far more powerful than the Covenant, at least that is what I heard.

Do you have any ideas who/what that enemy might be?

For the Multiplayer scenario, they said that there are going to be motives for Red Spartans fighting Blue Spartans. My money is on ONI loyalists defending and vice versa.

Why are you here?

Can't post the link here, but they already confirmed that the enemy was the Forerunners in the next magazine.

It's probably be the once again covent.(aka the stinking elites and grunts)

Very unlikely. The "Covenant," as Halo fans knew it, was destroyed in the Great Schism. What continued after the Schism, into Halo 3 was nothing more than a shadow of its former strength. Had the Covenant stayed united, humanity would almost certainly have fallen. As it is, the Covenant is gone. Annihilated. No more.

We have the Elites back on their homeworld of Sanghelios, the Kig-Yar are nothing more than rogue pirates, and the San'Shyum are... mysteriously absent. They could be a possible enemy, but they are not physical combatants; they are leaders, and thus need people to fight for them. And the grunts? The plot would be quite deflated if 343i resorted to using an army of Grunts as Master Chief's enemies. My theory as to the most likely Halo 4 antagonist is either a group of surviving Forerunners and their ancillae, or possibly the Insurrectionists (which are proven to still be existent in the post-war world. Just a theory, but I believe it is very possible.

I doubt this is true. I doubt it will be anything that hasn't been in books though ( I the Halo 4 first look video they say that they are pulling all story aspects out of books).

I reckon that it will be something that were enemies of the forerunners ( think precursors). I hate to say it, but I think that Halo is going the same way as mass effect in the way that this ultra technological beings are trying to annihilate the galaxy...again.

All I can say is that Master Chief is going to have fun with these new foes...maybe teabag the first one.

The Halo 4 enemies are the Forerunner

Going to be great to use Forerunner equipment! Can't wait!

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Forerunners...how creative.

I think the Covenant are gonna be like the Locust in Gears of War. Yeah sure the Locust are bad but the Lambent are worse.

Legacy:
Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary
Halo 3
Halo O.D.S.T
Halo Reach

Fav man characters: Jun, Emile, Master Chief, Arbiter

No, because the flood was wiped out on halo 3 when you destroy the ring

I think ONI will be an antagonist, but not the main villain. BS Angel's newest update said she killed an enemy and picked up it's Battle Rifle in H4, implying human enemies.

Or a Flood enemy holding a BR. Always a possibility.

@0_0@ <-- its a monkey

Its going to be Forerunners, precursors, and most likely covenant.

Sorry buddy, that's wrong.

i strongly agree with you but Halo will always be Halo. I say that meaning if they change 1 MAJOR thing on Halo... I will literally throw my Halo disk away. ALSO I will start a freakin rampage on youtube, facebook, twitter, ANYWHERE I can to tell them that this IS NOT THE HALO WE HAD BEFORE 343 TOOK IT OVER..

I believe ehe Human Covenant war was caused on the behalf of an AI. The covenant have always been noted to only innovate Forerunner technology. Several times through out the span of First strike to halo 2 and the terminal 3 in CEA has such a frustrating AI been mentioned.
San' Shuymm seem like the religious types that would follow the banter of an mysterious Ai such as this.

The San' Shuymm knew the humans had connections to Forerunners in the past, which is what started the war. It threatened their faith, so they decided it was best to label them heretics and destroy them. One of the AI's tried to explain that their holy conquest was false but was shut out by ignorance pretty much. This was explained in Contact Harvest (I think?).
That was Medicant Bias. The AI that betrayed the Frerunners 100,000 Years before the Human-Covenant War started.

First it has not been confirmed that the threat is precursor. That is simply a common opinion.
Secondly, I was merely asking his opinion on the subject to see if he had a new not yet mentioned theory.
Thirdly, I have been paying attention to this thread. I have been here since day one.

Waypoint Moderators aren't really Moderators, just power hungry and its goal is defend their beloved Halo at all costs. (Meaning that they wank Halo too much.)

BS Angel is alleged foe so, be wary of Waypoint and its moderators! Do not attempt to move to Waypoint. Enter your own risk.

*WARNING* IT IS MY OPINION.

Learn to adapt.

We have been fighting Covenant for straight ten years. Don't you think it gets boring? Besides, Forerunners and Precursors plus probably new Flood forms (especially from Forerunner-Flood War, where I heard that it is much, much worse than minor infection at Halo 3.) should be perfect replacement for outdated Covenant.

Besides, Covenant were destroyed in Great Schism.

If you are really doing to that, go ahead. One sale loss matters nothing to Microsoft and 343 Industries.

Frankie confirmed that the Covenant races ARE back, but take a sideline roll to the new threat, and in fact may not be enemies at all.
