I quit out of a FF match because 1, I refuse to do Overlook, and 2, why does everyone choose the Fuel Rod/Needler/Jetpack class?

I left and to my surprise, I get the ever-so-popular quit ban. Why the hell does this affect FF matchmaking? I don't get it.

Yes, I quit out on other games because facing 5 full parties in BTB out of 11 games is -blam!- up. I've already seen my game history and each game has ended up in a massacre. I really admire this matchup system, -blam!- ingenious. I can't have it either way with this dreaded quit ban, can I?

I don't understand why quitting out in FF matches affects this, I really don't.

Because it makes the game last longer for the other players effecting their game, making them "work harder" to get more kills (even though that's a good thing) That would be my guess.

If you are going to quit, don't take the risk of searching solo.

You quit, you get banned.

It's pretty simple really.

I was searching with two other people, but come on, 5 full parties is too much, and most of them chose Objective to pad their stats.

I can cover my friend's back and they will do the same, but we can only do so much before we get spawn trapped and annihilated. It's not fun dying and seeing the respawn screen every 20 seconds.

I refuse to do Overlook
Well there's your problem. Stop being such a self-centred prick and you'll stop getting banned.
So I'm a self-centered prick because I don't like the map Overlook. So what you're telling me is that I should stay and suffer the lag, while I'm sliding around as if I'm on a skating field. Sound logic you have there.

Fix your connection. That is your fault.

There is nothing wrong with my connection, it's the host I have to play on. Why is it that you people assume it's their connection that's causing the lag? Well who cares?

I can understand the quit ban for matchmaking, but Firefight? Hell, it makes me wonder if it affects Campaign coop with random people.

You'll never understand with your self-centred attitude.

Seriously, ever since I've posted on these forums, you always have a problem with it. Yeah, I also love it how you can predict what type of attitude I have through words.

All I wanted to know is why the quit ban affects FF matchmaking, but no, most of you always have a problem with one, mere question. It doesn't matter, Tsujen offered me the answer, so this thread no longer matters.

Nice reply you have there. Couldn't think of anything else, so you had to resort to petty insults. Nice one bro.

You weren't playing Firefight. You were playing Firefight Matchmaking. You quit too often in MM, you get penalized.

And it's not really a ban, it's probation. It says if you quit any more games after you get the message, then you will be unable to search matchmaking for a short period of time.

Dude....just sign out in the lobby and you won't get banned. I play on constant quit probation because i do it all the time. As long as you don't get booted or quit once the game starts - you will never get a 10 minute ban again.

What do you see different from FF and MM? You're still leaving your team one player down, the game is now going to be longer, your team has to get more kills, they know they are one player down and have to play "harder".

The thing is people are going into a FF matchmaking game expecting to play with 3 other players, why should their game be longer because you don't wanna play a map?

If your lag is so bad in FF don't play it, it's how the networks are set up in ff and co-op campaign why you will almost always have lag, it has nothing to do with your connection but the network. MM uses a different one and why you don't lag in that all the time.

The 343 forums suck. They're full of retarded kids and mods who got butthurt in the B.net forums for being told that they're bad.

Good full parties don't pick objective gametypes for stat-padding. They pick them so that, when 3/4 of the enemy team quits, they can end the game and find another one.

Bad full parties, on the other hand, do that. They will hold the objective until they get their sprees and such, or even til they run the time out.

Are you stupid? That game with the "Stupid Class" is called Arcade FF and people choose it because 1, it gets your more rounds and kills, 2, because you get unlimited lives and ammo, and 3, because its a good way to rank up. Now stop complaining that you got a quit ban because you are stubborn. Getting on here and complaining to the forums about it isnt going to make the quit ban go away.
