Ok, the score was 49 to 37, and I had 19 kills and no deaths, so naturally, I was hoping for a perfection. I has just killed an enemy sword wielder with a DMR and grabbed the sword. I noticed 2 enemies were about to come around the corner, so I wanted to lunge one and end the game. I targeted the enemy in front and I lunged. The second enemy almost parallel to the first went into armor lock, and for some ridiculous reason, my sword seemed to be deflected by the armor lock. He popped out, and I got double pummeled, costing me the perfection. What the KCUF!!! I was 100% positive the aimer turn red on the first guy.

tl;dr lazy version: Does armor lock have a larger area of effect than I realized, does it attract you towards it, or was it just some freak lag (everyone had a yellow connection bar)?

Always up for REACH customs!

You probably targeted the wrong guy, which would be an easy mistake to make in such an intense encounter.

You should have just sat in a corner and waited for your Perfection :(

The 343 forums suck. They're full of retarded kids and mods who got butthurt in the B.net forums for being told that they're bad.

Vid or you're bad.

Ok, I guess that's all, but it did seem strange. I'll test it out in customs later. Also, they seemed to know where I was, and I ran out of sprint, so I couldn't of just waited.

Was the armor locker to the right (enemy's left) of the first target? If so, the sword would've collided with the armor locker and triggered a deflection, even if he was not in the reticle.

Yes...so I'm not crazy after all? So armor lock does have a larger area of effect than I realized...but I'm sure the armor locker was slightly behind my target.
