It's not that I'm crazy... It's just that, you're not as far out there as I am.

T4R

Also, if they're so sticky, how does one throw a sticky and not get their fingers stuck on the explosive?

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

It's just one of those gameplay things that don't have much of a realistic explanation.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

There is a button somewhere on the grenade they press to activate it. Not sure how it doesn't stick though!

An assassin will always carry on, even after death.

It's more than likely time released, after activated you have around 1 second to get rid of it, or else it doesn't activate under the pressure of your grip, however once you release it, it no longer senses your grip and it activates. Just ideas.

Maybe when the grenade's activated it has to heat up to become sticky. Therefore, when you throw it, it's not sticky, but becomes sticky mid-flight.

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

I believe it is explained on Halopedia.

The Smiley face on it turns into a mad face.

Half of what I say is true. The other half are also lies.

Button on it that activates stickiness after a second or two.

You have to kiss it first.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I'd imagine when pressure is removed from the grenade, it will stick to any organic target that could be a potential threat.

If you don't know, then suicide is the only answer.

Lol JK. It's probably a pin or a button on it. If you can see it close up, it looks like there are many small buttons on it, possibly activating it.

  • 03.16.2012 12:45 PM PDT

There are buttons on it, I think once you release the button it automatically activates. But it's a covenant weapon so maybe human physics don't apply to it or something :P

I don't know but I've seen a Grunt on S117 stay kamikaze for what seemed like forever. And he wasn't running.
