i was recentlly in a capture the flag game on zealot, and the other team was a party of inheritors and forerunners. i knew nothing good was coming my way but before i knew it everyone on my team had quit. Shortly after that the other team plowed me with kills and celebratory crouching. And one thing that really makes me mad?? is that i kept spawning in the same place over and over and over again. and that place was swarming with the other team. i had a kd of 1 in 32. this really makes me unhappy and i think its unfair that bungie doesnt cover this problem or anything. oh well. i just wanted to tell some ppl my story. Comment if you've had a similar match like this one

There's an extremely easy solution:
Just quit the game.

Why would you purposely put yourself in a 4 v 1 situation? It's your own fault...

What did you expect, that you would magically own all four of them and win the game by yourself?

oh yeah i forgot to mention im on probation and if i quit again ill be put out for 10 minutes. i already got banned 3 times today and im sick of waiting

  • 03.15.2012 6:35 PM PDT

I know that feel, bro.

  • 03.15.2012 6:36 PM PDT

Oh, well that would make a lot more sense...

I don't think it penalizes you though if you leave before the match begins.

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Posted by: Sentox6
Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

I'm the one on the other side of the spawnkilling, and even I'd tell you to quit out.

No he wasn't on the other team. Think about his statement and what he is implying.

even though it is unlikely, i think almost all of us have experienced a game where we were down by at least half the team and we manage to either own everyone or at least keep up and maybe lose by one point

Inheritor #156 :p

The other team had 1 Inheritor and 1 Reclaimer.. If it was 5v1 you should have quit the game, especially on zealot when you can hold the flag and the other team will always spawn in the same spot.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

I agree but look at the players on the other team he was matched up against.

Sometimes quitting is a better route rather than being target practice for the other team.

Take the ban, and either go get a sandwich, or play some campaign. No shame for bailing in that case.

In general, I think someone needs to rethink the spawn algorithm. There are too many times that I spawn in the midst of 3 opponents, or behind a teammate with an inbound rocket. I have spawned facing a wall, and never even finished turning around before I died.

There should be a quiet spot to spawn SOMEwhere on the map.

Lol, that team was awful.

Statting on one person is pathetic anyways. Just quit. I'll spawn kill on Zealot until 2 people are left. Then I just score it 3 times really fast.

haha wow, that sucks

i quit like sometimes 6-8 times within approx. 5.5hrs but get a 1-2 min ban at least

...maybe im just lucky =))

Invasion on spire, spawn by teamate who is taking the lift up, fall to my death...

It gets to be annoying after the fifth time.

  • 03.16.2012 12:29 PM PDT

How dare better players beat you.

That is so terrible.

It is also very terrible that you were forced to quit out 3 times before to be put on probation.

This is a catastrophe.

I am showing so much emotion right now.

That's totally your fault for choosing to spawn on someone who is going up a lift.

i find this situation loads in griff ball, and yes if you decide to stay in the game then your going to get a very negative KD and its only your fault.. i do how ever agree that some players who do this should really just score the points and win the match, play fair every one.

Those who do this to me get a negative feed back for unsporting conduct.

we did play fair, you just suck. we also want our cR, so why not make the game last longer?

I'm sure that negative review will amount to something.

Didn't Edge get bant from a madbad kid who reported his bio?

Because he had a gt or something in it.

I have yet to be banned, and I've had so many people report me.

If you see a full-team look up one of them on B.net and see their match history. If you see a winning streak of more than 10 games just dashboard. Unless you think your team is competent.
