(Issue Solved) Thanks everyone

Each thread has an icon beside it, right? Be it a green plus, flaming webmaster, padlock or golden septagon. Yet a lot of the time, I just can't see them all. This is especially noticeable in private groups. Here are some examples;

Clean sweep except for a hot topic
The "old topic" icons are visible fine.
Taken straight from the current Community thread listing

It doesn't happen for a reason does it? I tried with Firefox and the same thing occurred. It's really of no importance but I'm just wondering if it's been like this for everybody.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Ah. I noticed that too. I didn't give it much attention, because it doesn't really matter all that much.

If they have no icons it just means there hasn't been recent activity and they're not a hot topic.

Key

Ones with a Green Plus have recent posts in them. After a certain amount of time (15 minutes maybe? 30 minutes?) it loses its green plus and doesn't have an icon.

Pretty much this. I think the trick of hiding the thread and then revealing it will still give the green plus symbol on a thread too.

I've noticed that they'll loose the green plus if they haven't been posted in about an hour or so and hot topics also loose it after a while.

Ah! I see. I figured it was an error loading the icon images or something.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

The green Webmaster icon indicates that there is recent activity in a topic. After about a half an hour, the icon goes away.

Clean sweep except for a hot topic

I'm not sure I see any issue here.
The threads in that list have literally very few posts. What makes you think there should be an icon next to them?
Threads only have an icon next to them if there is a recent comment or if it hit over 50 posts in groups. There won't be any gold septagons there.

Being a weekend it isn't at all unusual for there to be no activity on threads, hence no green icons, which go away after about 20-30 minutes of the most recent post being entered.
