I think that H3 (that is going to be the best game in the 360) should have more than 1000 gamerpoints to unlock because if not, it would be like any other game. You know you passed the best game of the 360 but your gamerscore doesnt show it. I think Bungie should put a lot of achievements to unlock because its more interesting but then the points for each one are going to be like 5 or so.And also I dont want the achievements to be hard or almost impossible to get, or so stupid like the ones of GRAW that you have to climb on top of the leaderbord, tell me, how many people can do that?? But not so easy either cuz then you are not prooving nothing to your friends. I think it should be at least 2000 or more so you get 20 or more points for each one. This is just my opinion, if you are with or against me just post it , or if you have other ideas for the gamerscore.

How many times are you going to post the same thread?

"You have been measured, you have been weighed: And you have been found lacking."

Agreed with the Leaderboard Stats.

Now I could imagine: Killed 100 people
Sniped 100 people stuff like that but not
Achieved #1 on Leaderboard crap

But I really think that the BEST and most anticipated game shoud have more gamerscore to get , and if you like RPGs more than FPS its your problem that an RPG is not the best game for the 360 and shouldnt have more.
(Because of what you sayd in the other one:

First off, Vinnie, I couldn't agree more with the statement in your sig.

Also, Why have more than 1000 points? I see where climbing the leaders boards for 50 point would be difficult if not impossible.... unless you dedicate your life to a game which in the end will not reap any real rewards. They should make all 1000 points "reachable" by everyone... just make it take some time.

sorry piky 51 it just won't happen. Microsoft's only guidelines set for game designer studios is that:

each game must have a minimum of 5 achievements

full length retail games can have a maximum of 1000 gamerscore

xbox live arcade games can have a maximum of 200 gamerscore

I honestly don't see why there should be a bend in these rules just for Halo3
We all know the acheivements will be spread out like in perfect dark. Rightfully so!

Microsoft also advises that the aceivements start out small and abundant such as 10 headshots 10 sticky kills maybe like 5 or 10 points a piece. Then as they become increasingly difficult spread the aceivements out to say 100 headshots 1000 headshots with the incremental gamerscore added accordingly.

Surely you will also see some for single player! That way we will have a measure of which levels and what difficulty you have completed such as in HALO:CE

good luc with your quest though :)
