About me? I love Astronomy, I like to play guitar and watch anime. My future lies in Astronomy and so does the future of all of humanity. You should join my Astronomy group Space Explorers.

In the future most of our daily lives will consist of Astronomy and space and you can change how it will all be by taking part of the development of science. However, we also discuss a lot of physics for those interested in that as it is very closely related to Astronomy.

Space Explorers is, unless I am mistaken, the biggest Astronomy group on Bnet. Maybe even the biggest science group too. We have:

- The latest space news
- Weekly news letters
- Lots of discussion
- A huge variety in the interests of the members
- Lots of material to start learning Astronomy
+ Much much more

As we always say, Space Explorers is the place to be.

To me, space expedition funding is a ridiculous waste of resources. Sure, it's fun to explore, but it's largely pointless. Anything effecting Earth that we can directly benefit from knowing, any information we can utilize for our good, is worth it. But spending billions of dollars on things like preparing to land on Mars is just throwing money away that could be put to much better use that will actually help us, directly, now. If we happened to find some element, some natural resource or some life-changing material on Mars, then great. But the risks are not worth it, especially with the size of the current U.S. national debt.

There are lots of ways to earn money from space. Sure the first few trips to both the Moon and Mars will gain no money, but they will create the foundation for further space exploration. Private companies will then grab the seed that those missions have planted and earn money from it.

You might not know it, but for every dollar spent on space exploration, 8 dollars have gone to the economy. This is because of spinoff technology, souvenirs and lots of other things. Now in the coming years we will be able to earn billions on space tourism, mining elements of the Moon, buying of celestial soil and so on.

Other things it will solve is:

-Overpopulation
-It will lead to more cooperation (probably)
-It will prevent the extinction of humanity
-More jobs

If anything, it will give the world more money that it consumes.
