I'm your biggest fan!

T4R, really. Just a question I thought of while replaying Halo 3 a few weeks back.

Does anyone have lotion?
*Raises hand*
Is mayonnaise a lotion?

Flood was here.

OT: Honestly, I have no idea.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

It's Gravemind trying to manipulate John into giving up his fight against the Flood. He uses old memories, "don't make a girl a promise if you know you can't keep it", and asserts the idea that if John continues then Cortana will die, "could you sacrifice me to complete your mission? Could you watch me die?".

That's pretty cool. I never, ever knew that.

My only problem is, how the hell was I meant to know that without delving into the EU?
