Burnout 3 has restored my faith in video games. It is one of the most awesome, jaw dropping, unashamedly fun video games I have played in a while. It may even be the best video game I have played since first playing Halo, I can honestly say that. Everything is right about it.

Sure, I have enjoyed playing games, but Burnout has given me that super adrenaline surge that I got from first playing AotCR, or something similar. A truly fantastic game. What is funny is that I am an anti-fan of driving games, I really dislike them. The fact that a driving game can make me love video games the way I used to really says something.

i agree 100%. i've never been a fan of racing games but i love burnout 3. i've been too absorbed in fable lately to play much. i haven't gotten online with it yet. is it as good as they say?

Ah, I don't have live, so I cannot unfoutunately sample the delights of online play. But it does look fantastic. My buddy is coming over tommorow to play Burnout with me, so I can at least get a taste of human competititon. I have heard that there have been major sever problems however, but I am sure that is fixed.

Damn the lack of broadband in my puny village.

Hmmm. That good, huh? I'd say my tastes are similar too; I hate racing/driving games. Well, not hate, but I rarely find them very fun to play. I've heard nothing but good things about burnout 3 though, so maybe its worth a try.

I felt the same bout driving games. Thing is, its not a driving game in the typical sense. Sure, you have to get to the finishing line, but you are actively engouraged to knock the other racers from the track etc. It is awesome. Rent it first.

Thank you. I am just like you. I really didn't like racing games but I bought this cuz i played it at best buy and I love it. The main thing that made me buy it was crashing. I was a fan of driving around in gta 3 with the firetruck and smashing cars. ahhh good times.

After seeing so much good feedback from people who own it and the good reviews, I'd say its between Burnout and Fable for the new game between now and Nov. competition. Or, I could get used copies of both I guess :)

When barbecuing veggie burgers, be sure to tie your long hair back. That will keep it away from the flames, you stupid hippie.

I can say the same for myself. However, I found tragically that the adrenaline rush kinda wore off, after getting used to the insane speeds and crashes.
