What is their current form of income as of right now? How do they make the money required to pay employees and bills to keep the place up?

I know the voices in my head are not real, but they have some great ideas.

Brown chicken Brown cow!

I would assume they would get a lump of cash up front from activision to be able to pay employees, production costs etc with a contract that shares out the profit from any future game sales (not including the payback of the original payment to bungie)between both publisher and developer.

Obviously I have covered it in a very very simple way as its normally more complicated. But goes along those lines.

Isnt the disembodied soul doing voice overs for ads and comentating on dog shows?

And I thought Stosh was pimping out the webmonkey to zoos around the USA?

You guys know that the employees don't just get a lump of cash in the mail every time a copy of their game is sold.

Employees probably get paid by the hour (like most other jobs). And the company has to be smart enough to have more than enough money leftover (from what they made on other games or contracts, &c) to pay the workers until their next game comes out.

Don't forget the Bungie Store. Not that it probably makes them a lot, but maybe a little.

Various means like DeeJ and Urk I know are strippers on the weekends, Achronos works as a tech support rep at Dell, and Jason Jones sells his organs he doesn't need or require to make video games.

So that's why all his naked pics in HFCS have been like a million percent creepier lately.

Bungie is probably still flush from all the proceeds they're sitting on from Weekend Warrior. They can live off that for at least a few more years.

Check the first page of Mail Sack 10. I made this thread and shortly thereafter DeeJ put it up so I posted it in there.

This as well as a probable package from Activision and light income from the Bungie store. Also, the career page displays multiple open positions, so chances have it that they are doing alright at the moment.
