It tends to happen that the memorable contribution outlives the memory of who it was who sent the snowball rolling in the first place.
Many, many people have done many, many great things here. Few are remembered. Some are misremembered. Others are celebrated for doing it better whilst the originator is forgotten.
It's an interesting social dynamic. I find it fascinating to study, but it's a bummer when you get caught in the middle of it and are the one that gets overridden in the memory banks of the community.
I'm sorry, but if I read another cliche, overemotional narrative by you I may throw up. Nobody's done "great things" here; you don't have to weave (attempted) inspirational anecdotes into each post, yo.
OT: Nope. I don't think so, anyway.It's painfully obvious that he meant great relatively to the level of things that can physically be done on here by a normal member.
Also, nothing about his post was inspirational.
