Ever wonder what's up there?
(I'm not talking about the Anniversary map pack here)
Alright, hear me out. Back when the Noble/Defiant map packs came out, you needed to purchase them in order to have access to the new achievements, right?
Well, 343 showed mercy I guess and added via their TU all the achievements to anyone playing Reach, wether they had the map packs or not.
The only current Noble/Defiant achievement you can't get in Reach if you haven't purchased any DLC is the "You blew it up" one, since it has to be done in Breakpoint.
Now my question is: Isn't this a bit unfair for those who did spend the money to get the achievements and the Halo gamerscore back then?
Now I'm thinking that the reason we're not seeing any more all-DLC-required playlists today is because you need to be able to play in certain playlists to get certain achievements (i.e. getting a kill in Rocket Race in the Multi-Team playlist.)
But this makes little to no sense, since achievements like this required you to buy the Noble DLC in the first place!
How come DLC owners are screwed because the kiddies don't want to lose their opportunity of getting those free achievements they didn't pay for? We should have more DLC playlists available if you ask me. DLC maps are the best Reach can offer, and having people complaining over achievements they shouldn't have the opportunity to get on the first place is annoying.
What do you guys think about this?
