well, u obviously don't know this "grunt lover" but if you go 2 wikipedia.org and look 4 halo. it'll give u all this stuff halo, and in it, it talks about how there are otehr flood forms. One called the "juggernaut" form. not sure what it's morphed from, but i think it's supposed to be the Hunter. Then there's the brain form (Gravemind was one, and Captain Keyes was a basic version). and also: u forgot drone forms! a drone flood would be a nitemare to the max, but it would look soo tight!

Actually a flood juggernaught is most likely an infected drinol. It physically can't be a hunter because ther are a system of small worms that form together in the armor.

yeh ur right, i 4got 'bout that... minor detail. now i remember! cuz flood have to have a large calcium deposit in order to sustain themselves as a combat form. otherwise they'll just decompose and shrink into carrier forms.

I'll be on my own side.

A large calcium deposit? Where did you hear that?

The only requirements(that we know of) for a combat form to be created is a bioform that's large enough to sustain and support a Flood Infection Form.

Once a Combat Form is too damaged to be useful in battle, it is converted to a Carrier Form.

Looking at the Flood Juggernaut, it's possible that it was formed by an infected Hunter. Technically, the "Drinol" doesn't exist. The Flood Juggernaut does(more so than the Drinol), just like the Engineer. The code is there. So if this form is the Drinol, why haven't we found the Drinol hidden in the game's code like we found the Juggernaut? You would think that if there's a Flood form of a creature, the actual creature would be there too.

Also, who's to say that the Flood can't infect a Hunter? Nobody said that the armor disappears when the Flood invades. It's possible that the armor keeps the worms in place while the Flood potentially fashions an alternative way of keeping shape(layer of flesh).

yeah hunters are a group of symbiotes living in that armour they have no bones or central nervouse system it is kind of odd that thier as inteligent as they are

Wrong.

Way to back up your opinion. He's right, there's no such thing as a Drinol in the Halo universe.

Hunter flood won't happen, but the juggernaut IS NOT a drinol. Drinol are huge fat things with barrel arms, those arms on a juggernaut aren't even that big. Flood swell their host, not shrink.

BRUTE FLOOD ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the juggernaut is formed from an engineer...if you look at the JGRNTS feet their very
small....because engineers have no legs I guessing the flood had to grow them...plus the engineer has long tentacles, like the juggernaut....also the DRINOL, in the limted edition is refered to as a huge boss character AND VEHICHLE SMASHER! meaning it must be gigantic

hmmm, although i would like to see brute flood, i chose other. i want to see spartan flood lol

  • 05.27.2006 5:33 AM PDT

spartan flood whould be cool but a bstrd to fight.

flood juggernauts look kinda like highly altered combat forms - maybe a progression making them more combat orientated using the floods own natural weapons rather than relying on assimilated species

i think they should make all forms of flood for every enemy that can sustain flood(grunts are carriers for ny1 that didnt know)and make the flood look a little bit more diverse, so its hard to say any 2 are excactly the same, of course some would because it would be hard making every individual flood different, but flood take over dead bodies bodies that could'v been rotting and new bodies and they'v taken dmage so wouldnt it make sense to make alot of different looks for the same combat form? and i would like to see engineers in Halo 3, iv only seem them in a Halo CE multiplayer map and the warthog launch flash game. and as u see in Halo 1 the tiny flood infections jump on hunters and slowly(very slowly) kill it by making it bleed to death, maybe it jsut takes a long time to make a flood hunter(juggernaut)

I think that a brute could potentially become a flood combat form as its biomass is similar to that of an elite. We've actually already seen a prophet flood form.

i voted human female but only if she's nude!!!!! but in all honesty the Hunter would be the best no doubt

an while im talking about hunters woulnt be sweet to pick up a hunter weapon in Halo 3. it can have a limited charge like the rest of the cov. weapons that would be the best
