Subject: "I" before "E" except after "C"

While one browses Bungie.net, you may find many walls of text, or the person who types like he is texting.

Is spelling words correctly something that makes you read a post?

Is grammar another thing that makes you read the post?

And lastly, is a knowledge of the subject something important?

Are all of these attributes important for a good post?

*NEW QUESTION*

Is the use of memes in the wrong way another thing that turns you off of a thread?

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I stopped reading when you forgot the question mark.

Grammer does not determine if i read the post or not, but i do judge their intelligence harsher than i would with someone with better grammer.

Yes to all the above.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

I only read a thread if it is something that interests me. If it has bad grammar, or misspelled words I don't mind. I only mind if it is unreadable due to grammar mistakes or spelling. But that is super rare for it to happen.

Roll the dice, try again.

I before E except after C, or if it says "a", as in "neighbor" and "weigh".

Yes. They are very important. It's OK if a post lacks one, but if two are missing, or even all three, it drives me crazy.

I do, most of the threads are good reads. Not many spelling/grammatical errors there.

Spelling isn't a problem for me, but grammar drives me crazy.

I before e except after c? That's weird. I'm sure science could prove it wrong, though.

It doesn't have to be the best work, but I fancy a bit of effort put into spelling and grammar.

Кланяються мені!

Very much so. I tend to avoid posts that have terrible spelling and grammar. A small mistake is acceptable here and there, but if you don't even try and make your post nice then I will just leave.

Rush posting and typing on the phone are problems for me.

Spelling and grammar are important, but not critical on these forums. It's an informal setting, it only makes sense to expect people to use informal language.

What does bug me is when people who have no idea what they're talking about try to discuss something like an expert.

"You dead yet? No? You will be!"

"How you like them pears? Guess what I mean by pears."

"I'm gonna rip off his partridge and kick him in the pear tree!"
