Subject: March 31st :(((

Well, I never had my own XBL account... always used my brothers because he was the one with the money so he made the rules...

anyhow, My brother moved out about 7 months ago, and I just got enough money to buy an Xbox 360, I'm getting it this weekend!

I am still an avid Halo 3 player, and I got my own XBL account (this one, a fresh one) with no stats on ANY games yet.

I was so excited to be able to play Halo 3 again this weekend, however I was devastated beyond recognition when I heard the stats will be frozen on the 31st :(

My world has just lost all it's colors. The sun has lost it's warmth, and the moon has lost it's guiding light. :( There is no way I am getting up to a 50 skill + Recon in Halo 3 during just 1 school week.

Why does 343 Industries have to do this to us? :( I was so excited for weeks looking forward to just this upcoming weekend, and now I feel like all my 4 months of not spending any sort of money I have gotten is nearly all to waste.

But I must admit, I will still love to be back on the couch playing Halo 3, even if the Ranked playlists won't quite function. So I guess it's not all bad. but it's still very bad :(

343 Industries isn't being a bully over this. Microsoft owns the rights to Halo and there's no reason for Bungie to keep hold of stat tracking as they've moved the official forums over to 343 Industries. While many people prefer these forums to their forums, it's just the way it goes. Bungie is moving on to something new and if you don't want to move with them, you can go with 343 Industries. They're a pretty nice bunch.

As for tracking your stats, I'm sure they'll be updating the site to include more in depth Halo 3 stat tracking the same way Bungie has it here. I couldn't imagine them just leaving us without any stat tracking at all. If there's any Halo community that is obsessed with stat tracking, it's Halo 3's community. I think they know that. :P

Well that was at least a little bit assuring... Thanks!

I hope your right. I'm just believing these people on b.net because about 6 of them on this H3 forum have said it's true.

I have got to pray about this one.

Stat tracking won't be available until summer. I wonder if games played between summer would be tracked.

Bleh... Oh well... Not too big of a deal. Sucks for the people who care about their stats, though.

Halo 3 is my favorite game of all time, period. That's multiplayer, single player, co-op campaign, everything. I -blam!- love halo 3 and I include ODST coz it has Halo 3 in the title =)

I agree OP. March 31 is truly a sad day. I can't believe that it has to come to this. I wish they would just transition everything like they originally said instead of dropping stat-tracking altogether. :(((

Just wondering. Have you seen their stat tracking? Their Halo CE said I played one of the levels for 14 days. And that was three days after the game was released. Not to mention that they couldn't even get that game to track kills for campaign.

I changed usernames to match my gamertag. My original account, wambo114, was created when I got xbox live. I'm a 2007 kid really!

I thought that 343i said they weren't going to update either Reach's or 3's stats?
