I not afraid to make a thread. When I start to though, I think twice about what I put in it. Cause I've put some things about individuals that wasn't appropriate.

As for the most part, I'm not afraid of a warning/ban, unless I know of something I've done that would cause me to be banned/warned.

That fear of posting something you regret and taking a ban for it. This is why I reluctantly post in the main forums at all.
So as things turn out to get a title you need to not make threads. Noted. Ill start doing that then. Seems like the only safe way to go about it.

I only make threads that I feel are worthwhile so, no, I'm never hesitant when I decide it is the right time and place for a thread. I know what I'm doing.

I know that feeling too my friend. They should have a sticky for those contemplating Bnet suicide. Like a Bnet suicide hotline.

Looking through some of your post history, you don't always have nice things to say in response to threads. That's a signifier of a lack of self control and blatant immaturity. Yes, the anonymity of the internet is a doorway to do things such as that, but on this site you operate under a set of guidelines and rules.

I am not saying this is a marker of your overall character and I have nothing against you as a person but from viewing some of the small jabs you take at others when you post, I can see why you get locks and warnings. I could not find any threads you made that were locked but I did see some stuff that I used to partake in long ago, when I first got here. Grow up and prosperous times will flow.

Sometimes yes. But...

But see heres the surprising thing. None of that ever gave me a warning. Despite my hateful mentality of the flood, it's never led me to a ban, warning, or lock, save for a single warning for flaming months ago that was deserved. Although I have become less hateful despite this. I have been a jerk at times. I've received four lock/warnings recently for the following:

- Political Discussion: Undeserved (shared video that was for a political campaign, however the discussion was over the videos content, not its political undertone)
- Political Discussion again: Deserved
- Discussing Illegal Activities: Undeserved (I told a guy piracy was bad)
- One-liner response thread: Undeserved (Misunderstanding)

Obviously the deserved/undeserved is just my opinion. Already accepted punishment.

@Lobster

He could be like me. I like to think of being somewhat of an -blam!- on the Flood, but helpful and intelligent in Private Groups with friends. Like you said, what you see is not always a reflection of character.

Agreed.

And just out of curiosity, what thread did you want to make?

Yeah this is exactly how I am. People on the flood are just so infuriatingly stupid so often.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

I fear it also. I'll sometimes come up with a great thread, but I'll shoot it down myself to prevent public humiliation or ban/warning.

This appears to be the best thing to do. Hell I was surprised this thread didnt get me locked/banned.

And that's why I made a point to clarify everything I said. I never really like to post too much wordage because barely anyone will ever read it but when the situation calls for clarification I will indulge in some minor verbiage.

I very rarely make threads unless I really have something to say. It seems like a natural progression.
Same here. Honestly I only ever make threads a couple times a week usually.
I don't think you understand.
Erm yes I do. What I am saying is that I only really have something to say a couple times a week. I don't create threads unless I feel like it's unique and has discussion value.

To be fair by "Very rarely" I mean much more sparse than a couple threads a week >_>

Please don't encourage Hyle, I'm still reading through a couple threads he made almost a year ago. ;)

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Seems like no matter how many times I read the rules I'll still receive a lock instantly after creating a thread at some point.
Don't worry too much; almost every thread I've created has been locked. My thoughts are obviously just too much to handle...public safety and all that.

After a recent warning, I've basically become afraid of making threads anymore. Seems like no matter how many times I read the rules I'll still receive a lock instantly after creating a thread at some point. Then 10 minutes later I'll see someone do nearly the same thing and completely get away with it. It's just frustrating. Seems like some mods interpret rules differently or the rules are just misleading here and there.

Despite this fear I decided to create this one in order to see if anyone else feels this way, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it got locked. So what do you think? Do you ever feel this way?

Yes, but when I make a thread, it usually means something is broken. :)
