do you guys think it would be cool to have huge 64 player maps
if any body has any other ideas please post i would love to hear your ideas

no 16 people is enough, think about the lag it would be impossible to play i think 8-10 people is the most you should have any more and it would be terrible.

Yeah.... It would lag so horribly I don't think many would want to play it. But mabye they will come out with something that helps network connections and allows you to play that big of match.

and bigger the map usually means less lag per player

I don't see how that matters. 64 players for a Halo game would suck

why?

because it will seem more like a war, but there should be more maps staying to the origional 8 players... kinda like the first Halo, where certain maps hold certain amont of people. also, you KNOW Beaver Creek will be one map... it HAS to be, being avalible for Halo and Halo 2...

I want Big-ass battlefield 2 size maps or bigger. Big enought to import the pelican into the game.

yeah i really don't think that 64 players would do so hot, for a couple of reasons

1. the lag would be terrible and everyone would hate it
2. where are you going to find 64 friends?
3. The game would have to be to some enormous number for slayer othewise the game would go very fast, and would be pointless
4. and finally i think it would be to hard for bungie to make a map that is large enough and capable to hold 64 people


but then again i could see why it could work, just because you could have some war like games, like a huge game of SWAT. But even if you were to play a huge warlike game there would have to be very complex levels, that you could create strategies for, and things such as that

I find it very much a war with a full 16 players. 64 players with Halo's gameplay would suck.

maybe 32 idk about 64 if they could work out the lag then i see no harm put it in matchmaking and dont play it if you dont want to

well then i could go to some enormis number but i would feel more like a giant war. with a map like that we could drive pelicans and phantoms. Bungie would only have to make one or two of these maps

I would say 64 is way too much. 18 is just fine i think. If bungie got servers then that would solve the lag problem with 64 players but it would still be stupid.
