Positive vibes.

Someone who understands unconditional love, and loves unconditionally. Someone who is humble, and patient. Someone who treats everyone equally, and with the upmost kindness and respect.

They don't have to be liked by everyone, nor do they have to have done anything memorable. So long as they have the qualities of an unconditionally loving person, they are perfect (in my book).

You're really heading in the wrong direction Mr AwesomePizza.

:)

Key

Not sure about their warning/ban histories but I think SonicJohn and cortana 5 both fit almost all those criteria.

Just sayin'.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

We're talking ideal BNET Member not ideal husband.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

The fact that it is an online community means nothing. No one is perfect, but you are far from (close to) perfect if you are not an unconditionally loving person. I think it's ridiculous that you can call someone the perfect BNET member simply for the reasons Mr AwesomePizza mentioned.

You're perfect if you're liked? You're perfect if your a mythic member? I certainly hope you're joking. You're perfect if your perfect. None of the things he listed make you the perfect BNET member; at least not in my opinion.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

Everything you said besides:
- A Mythic member
- Liked by the mods
- Liked by other users

Whisper Game Studios - shhhh, it's a public secret.
Webcam MVP

[*Please note that anything in my posts is likely to be filled with sarcasm, and should be taken with a pinch of salt. I tend to help people, usually*]

In many ways, this is like searching for the ideal partner. You're never going to find the one person that fits all of your high-pedestal attributes, but you'll discover the best in someone as you go along getting to know them.

Plus, having no bans or being nice to everyone are both overrated.

Being Mythic is awesome, though.

Life?
I have the internet and Doctor Who; i don't need a life.

- No bans at all, maybe just one warning (nope lol)
- Stays on topic all the time (usually)
- Makes threads that are hot topics on a regular basis (lolno)
- Meaningful posts (yep)
- A Mythic member (Not to be mean, but they're considered the elders here) (nope)
- Liked by the mods (eh, maybe, if they know me at all)
- Liked by other users (probably not)
- Nice to everyone (i try, but i am rather cynical which may not come across as nice)
- Has contributed positively to the Community (Done something that changed the Community.) (lolno)

pretty terrible member then
i iz proud

Same. Nobody likes arrogant jerks.

That guy doesn't seem very fun, I might think well of him but I wouldn't have him as a friend.

I'm not sure who you're directing your post at, but the ideal bnet member would quote correctly.

"So much of what we do is ephemeral and quickly forgotten, even by ourselves, so it's gratifying to have something you have done linger in people's memories." John Williams

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

Guys, this is all fictional. I never said this is a real person, it's just my opinion of what would be the poster boy/girl of the Bungie community. It is impossible to be what I listed, reason for it being fictional. Please don't flame me because I have a different idea of a perfect member than you. We all have various opinions on what would be ideal as you can tell from this thread.
I don't see how you all would think that this person is a jerk since they've never existed, and they sound perfect to me.

Of coarse this is impossible. Reason for it being ideal. Please have fun, don't bash what others opinions are.

My sincerest apologies if my comments seemed churlish, but I was merely pointing out that the things you listed do not define the ideal BNET Member. Simply because one is liked by others does not make them an 'ideal' anything.

I could say I liked you because your threads are insightful, and tongue-and-cheek, but that does not make you an ideal member. Your personality is what truly defines you as a member - not the things you post, or the people you know, or the people who know you.

:)

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Posted by: zoobkillerninja
Making hot topics on a regular basis does not make you a good member... most mythix dont post threads here...

I dont fit most of those qualities...

Why are you reading my signature? Who actually opens these things and reads them!

And as always, SEND ME A PM. Please. Or really bad things will happen to you.

So uhhh... That's basically me. The only slight difference is that only like 50% of my threads hit hot topic.

Does this make me special?

And that is your opinion on what an ideal member is and I respect that. I personally think what I stated is the ideal, perfect member. Like I said before, our opinions on the perfect member vary. I hope I don't sound like a jerk face, I'm just listing my opinion. =)
