Poll: Would you like to see answered polls linked to your accounts?  [closed]
Yes:  59%
(16 Votes)
No:  41%
(11 Votes)
Total Votes: 27

Just a random question -- Would you like to see your answers to polls linked somewhere on your account?

It can be viewed as useless, but heck... I'd like to see a list of ten recent poll answers, especially when a new game comes out.
Or... i'd just like to see if you chose Pie.

Like, it would show up in your post history as a vote? I'd be down with that, baby.

  • 03.23.2012 1:10 AM PDT

Thta's....actually a really good idea.

I'd go as far to have a "polls" page, with stats from threads you have posted, with links to the results, rather than saving every poll-thread you post.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I was just thinking about that yesterday. I think it would be a cool stat, but I also like anonymous voting.

Poll police disapproves.

If anything were to be changed, I would like to see the current votes and %'s before I cast my vote. It might help me make my decision faster, harder and stronger.

Also, Anonymous voting is what makes Top Gun's polls so great :P

Positive vibes.

I wouldn't say it's useless, so much as it is unnecessary; but it's certainly an interesting idea, and I wouldn't mind it at all if it were added.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

I'd like to see a feature where the poll creator can choose whether to make the poll private or public; if public, then as well as seeing the poll statistics, one could see who voted for what.

Do you like pie? [Yes] No

I really don't see a reason to go out of the way to create more work for the web team for some thing that I would suspect only a handful (by percentage) of users would find useful. If you can not remember how you voted on any particular poll, you may have memory issues.

I suggest simply saving any poll threads that you have voted in into your own personal archive, and see if you ever really benefit from going back to see 'how' you voted (since most everyone who votes also posts their opinion).

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

But... then everyone would be able to see that I always vote for the dumbest option presented.

I re-read the op.
Still don't see it saying 'that', but oh well.

I'm a college dropout.

Who cares if it's useless? It's the small cool features like that that make things comfortable and fun.

I quite like this idea, it would be interesting to see what people voted on certain things.

No, I don't see a point in it. Most of the polls here are somewhat useless except for the occasional good one that doesn't die.
