Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

So I am thinking of putting this in a halo fan fiction

Would it break canon for a brute prisoner to be snuck upon the shade of intent by elites in a phantom during the glassing of Voi? Basically during the cutscene in Halo 3 with Rtas, Arbiter, Master Chief, Spark and Lord Hood at the end of Floodgate, would a brute prisoner being on the same ship break canon in anyway?

It's a fan fiction, so it's not canon anyways.

A fan fiction isn't considered canon anyways, so it doesn't matter if you break canon.

Suppose

Hmmmm.... as long as he is "taken care of" before they reach Sanghelios. Because you do see him on it, but I don't think a Brute knowing the location of the Elite home world would be a good thing.

So if he dies before he reaches Sanghelios, then I guess you could "squeeze" him in. No fan fiction is canon, but this is within the boundaries of set canon anyways. Or least I think so.

Xbox Live, ad me if you like

It certainly is admirable how well you people know you're lore and canon. I enjoy all Halo. A LOT!
I've read most of the books, played all the games and have been reading hours and hours on the wiki sites to get background information on all things Halo.

But still, my knowledge of the halo universe is limited i suppose.

"Where ere thou hast been, here or in yon world manifest? Canst thou tell what is, or what was, or what is to come? No thing shall last. Yet there are some things that will never change. History is written in blood, yet are battles really lost on the battlefield? Canst thou tell me where thou comest, and where thou goest, and what is, or what was, or what will be? For everything remains, AS IT NEVER WAS."

While this may be, some writers (I am one,) prefer to keep everything in our writings within the bounds of the canon, with no conflicts on mannerisms, dates, and characters.

OP, I would say that such an even wouldn't break canon, so long as the Brute is a prisoner and not some pampered guest. If you're writing from a Sangheili perspective, don't treat him well.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

Why would they take a Brute as prisoner...and how would they restrain him? (seeing how it's twice as strong as both Elites and Spartans in Hand to Hand)

Thanks guys, but I think you may have misunderstood by OP

What I meant was that he would be taken onto the Shadow of Intent just after the events of Floodgate, during the cutscene with the debate between Rtas and Lord Hood

I would tell, but it would ruin the surprise if I ever actually write it

I am the light in a dark world...
All that is dark and currupt shall fall before me...
May you all live long and die strong.

It's kinda like a Roleplay, it's only as Canon as you make it and even then you can work around the claims for what is canon and what is not canon.

Even the books and games don't always follow canon events to the word. An example would be Reach and Halo Combat Evolved.

The stories do not go hand in hand. Perticularly in the case of certain characters. Then you have the books which are writen by diffirent people. Nothing is truely Canon.
