As you can tell the Bungie.net main page is more active than ever! There is 11 total news stories this week made by 3 Bungie employees and 1 moderator. I was just wondering, can we expect this every week with KPaul joining the team? Or was this just a 1 week thing?

I really enjoy all the stories and wouldn't mind 1 or 2 a day. What about you? Do you enjoy it?

Also I was just wondering, I remember awhile back I read a news story about how users can submit top stories and if it was accepted, they received something nice. Is this still true today?

KOTOR | The WarriorsI'll chain you to the truth for the truth shall set you free
I'll turn the screws of vengeance and bury you with honesty
I'll make all your dreams come to life, then slay them as quickly as they came

I'd much rather have Bungie concentrate on improving the site, not making news articles.

Well I' am almost positive that making a few more news stories each week wouldn't take up so much time they couldn't focus on adding features. How long would it take to make a news post, 20 minutes tops...

Think about that twenty minutes for a second. If they did what you said and made two to three a day, that's forty, maybe sixty minutes of their time spent on making them per day. That hour will add up after awhile. See what I mean?

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

For the most part, the people who write stories are not the same people that would be helping improve the site. Frankie, KP, and Sawnose have things to do other than write articles, but improving the site isn't one of them. Come to think of it, what else would KP be doing? I wonder what exactly his job description is.

Late Edit: Actually, sawnose would be helping to improve the site, I think. My bad.

I'd rather have more big stories, than lots of small ones.

I'm liking it too. I enjoy those glimpses into the Bungie world, and I like seeing new stuff posted.

Ah well, that's my vapid opinion voiced... =P

You can defenitely still submit news stories to the front-page. But if you get one posted you don't get any sort of prize, I guess the prize is being on the front page of B.net.

No, I did not say news stories. I' am talking about Top Stories. You know, the articles with the pictures. I remember them saying if we have a good top story and submit it to sketch or frankie. If they like it, then we get some sort of bonus.

That really doesn't matter. This is a slow forum, the topic was still on the front page. I have the right to reply to my own topic. Just because its say, um 4 hours old, doesn't make a difference. Thanks for your concern but please don't turn my thread off topic. For future reference if you need to report something, PM a moderator.
