Ok first, mr.snipe calm your jizz.Wow. That was a good comeback. Did you learn that one in elementary school? How about you mature a little bit and then try to have an actual discussion like a big boy.
My comment to qbix was sarcasm. If that was intended to be sarcasm, you're doing it wrong.
Second The mods deserve it because they have a super tough jobReally? What's "super tough" about their job? They don't have to do any moderating. They don't have a job. They are given the ability to moderate the forums because the Web Team thinks they'd do well at it. Actually moderating is not difficult at all. It's banning/warning people you think have broken the rules to an extent to warrant it and locking threads that they think have done so likewise.
That's not difficult. They don't have to respond to any of our whiney PMs asking for ban appeals. They don't have to give any reason for their actions except perhaps to one of their superiors (a member of the Bungie Web Team) who is questioning a highly controversial decision made by one of them. In either case they do NOT have a super tough job.
he members that have been here for a long time so what? they have no life it's not like they work or anything.
So because they're part of a community (one that YOU are apart of I might add) for a long time, ignoring what ever average post rate they might have, that means that they have "no life"? What? Some Mythics have a post count of about 5, if that. Lots of them are below THAT even. It's extremely ignorant to assume that they have no life just because they've stayed with the community for that long.
It's even more painfully ignorant to say the incredibly stupid statement that "it's not like they work or anything". What does that even MEAN? Does that mean you're assuming that because they've been here a while that they don't have jobs? Is that part of the non-lifestyle that they lead? Or is it perhaps trying to further your confused admiration of the mods?
Don't get me wrong. I like the mods, I really do. They provide a great service to the community. But to suggest that they are better than an average member because they "work" while on here, is ridiculous, mainly because of the fact that it isn't true.
Also, learn to use proper grammar and capitalization. Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you can't flex those 7th grade grammar skills.
OT: I have yet to see a compelling argument against the ideas put forth in either the OP or my suggestion.
