There is a few questions I would like to ask and I want to see if anyone has a answer:

1: Was the game engine totally rewritten or was it an edit of the Halo 2 one with a new graphic and lighting engine?

2: If the banshees we're on autopilot, Why'd you worry if the code was going to screw up?

3: In the trailer, you said master cheif could actually move, so was there any physics?

4: Where the huge covenant ships actually moving or did you do what you did in Halo 2 by just shrinking the model/sprite.

If anyone can answer these, it would be apreciated very much.

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

It's a trailer...not actual gameplay.

Yes, I know but read this: The demo shifted away from the crater to the part of the level you see the Master Chief walking in from. He was controllable, which means that the trailer indicates just how good the game will look. Lehto was able to zoom in on the Master Chief with the camera, and you could see the many different ways light reflected objects onto him. For example, you could see light reflect off the ground and onto his armor. A new materials system shows the difference between his armor and the rubber undersuit. It's so detailed that if you bring the camera close to the Master Chief's visor, you see everything in front of him reflected in it, right down to the ammo counter in his rifle.

And it was real-time.
