"I'm uncomfortable."
-True Underdog
Young Grasshopper of The Year: ChorrizoTapatio 2012

A little bit of sausage, a little bit of hot sauce, a whole lot of awesome. Have a question? Ask me!
Chapter

How did you feel about it? I personally thought it was awesome but I felt kinda left out because I didn't get some of the inside jokes (still don't) and I was also scared to post because I feared I would be torn to pieces (still just a little scared of mythics).

I was worried I might mess something up when I first hit the reply button. After that, I jumped right in.

Right away it felt like the kind of community I wanted to be a part of.

  • 03.24.2012 6:20 PM PDT

It took me a while to get posting and got a few warnings and bans but now I'm cool with the place.

Be nice to noobs..Remember even MLG players were noobs at one point.

I thought it was cool and I sensed that I would be spending alot of time in this place.

It seemed like a cool community even though I didn't understand half the terms the Halo 3 Forum were using.

  • 03.24.2012 6:25 PM PDT

I was kinda unsure about it at first, but then again when I first joined up I wasn't active in the forums, I logged in to check my Halo 2 and 3 stats. After a while I became active in the Halo 2 and Halo 3 forums, then found the Community shortly after.

Friends before pixels.

I was too naive when I first joined to really think about it.

2 people or so were nice, and I thought that was enough and I was happy.

  • 03.24.2012 6:31 PM PDT

Back in the day, I thought it was awesome seeing so many people brought together by one company that produced something so spectacularly awesome. Even to this day.

When I created my account back in 08, I knew nothing of the public forums. For the course of a month or so, I just scrolled around and read through random stuff. It was not until mid 2009 that I found the public forums, and until 2010 when I made my first forum post. mid last year I became a more active contributor to the forums.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

I didn't really care at the time. I was 11 years-old. Yikes.

But now I care. Oh man, do I care! Sure, at first I was young and naive (still am, for the most part), but I learned the inside jokes and helped create a few. The most amazing friends I've ever had are from here and the people on this site held my hand through some of the worst parts of the short six years I've been here.

Everybody here knew everybody. I felt like a stranger. :/

I thought I was funny when I wasn't and I was a complete ass.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

I was an idiot (and probably still am) but it is and was the internet, so I am not to concerned about showing my incompetence.

I never would have thought I'd end up coming here so often. I used to just come here for the updates and made an account in case I wanted to say something.

I've been told by various personnel that when I first came to BNet, I was but an infant: naked, blind, and without a fully-developed memory.

So, it isn't possible to recall my first experiences here. Nor is it possible to recall anything after I became... aware. It's all a big, dumb blur.

  • 03.25.2012 2:39 AM PDT

Wake me, when you need me.

I don't remember the time when I had my first dosage of Bnet. I remember joining up back in '07 after H3 came out, but I can't remember what things were like back then besides posting in the Halo 3 forum and Screenshot forum a lot.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I joined because it was easier to keep track of my Halo 2 stats. I didn't come here for the community - nor did I really know it existed at that time either.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

At first, I was hoping i wasn't sending a direct reply when i first pressed the reply button, as it's on someones post.

After that, I got to it.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

I just came here to look at my stats. I did get a couple of warning, and bans.

This and I was also afraid that my English was so bad that no-one could understand me. I know my English isn't perfect but as long as people know what I'm saying it's ok.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

I fit in like a pair of fingers fits into a warm, moist

apple pie.

When I made this account, I only used it for stats. Soon it was with the BWUs. It took a while for me to get really active on b.net. When I did start, I was unsure of my place here. Not sure what's what, and who's who. Just really getting the sense of direction the wind blows around here. But as the saying goes, "I came for the stats, but I stayed for the lame jokes."

I frist spent most of my time in the Halo: Reach Forums. My time there was... interesting to say the least. I soon became quite an active member, especially there. But then things got a little monotonous for me.

I eventually migrated here to the Community Forums a while back. Being fairly new here, there is quite a bit of talk of events before my time, and jokes I have no idea about. I have been enlightened to some of the history here, and have even been here to experience some for myself.

I've experienced quite a bit in my last 4 years here.
