"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

Oh the irony...

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Even this thread, asking if anyone ever noticed the cycles, is a part of that same cycle. The cycles continue on. Unrelenting. Unabated.

Not really. It's a forum, and that's what you do in forums. It keeps things moving and people get their questions answered and comments addressed.

"No, Hoobla. No."

It really is annoying, and whenever I tell someone that there is already a thread on it they just start raging...

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

Humorous? God no.

Annoying? Beyond all belief.

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."

It's not that I get "sick of it," it's just that I've posted in a lot of threads about the exact same thing, and it's gotten tiresome on some subjects after so many years.

Plus, there isn't that much to discuss right now, nor is there ever really anything to discuss in here besides actual website stuff, so it's bound to get repeated.

I haven't been here long enough to tell you. However... the threads pertaining to halo reach ranks are getting quite old now.

There was a good example yesterday, that was the classic picture to describe a forum thread, where Skilphil and I had a humorous exchange about old threads.

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

I get annoyed with it because at this point, threads have been repeated so many times they're used as PPD/attention boosts, and you can't point that out to the OPs because for some reason the threads are still legitimate.

I mean, I could make a thread asking about why users picked their particular username and it would probably reach hot topic status in about 20 minutes, despite the thread being made at least twice in the past few months, and it would be perfectly fine by community standards.
