Can any tell me if the master cheif in the halo 3 trailer was a controlable.

Look like a cutscene to me. I thought I remember a bungie representative stating it was a scene somewhere in the middle of the game? So that would basically mean it's just a scene not gameplay.. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

He was not, though, some gaming publications got to see a special version where you can rotate the camera around him (Or somthing like that). He does not move, but everything else does.

the correct term is "rendered in real-time." this means the game engine is pumping out graphics in real time, instead of just a pre-rendered cutscene. the difference is that in real-time rendering, you can move around the environment while seeing the same quality graphics, but in a pre-rendered scene, its just a recording, nothing more.
