If you like Armor Lock, you are a troll.

Then how do you possible continue to play this game? I don't even know what to expect from the playlists because they're all just a random assortment of about 30 different settings. They're so not fun as well. ZBNS is incredibly fun and challenging.

If you didn't watch MLG Columbus today, you missed the best Halo in the last 5 years. It's amazing to me how good this game was, and then Bungie put bloom and AA's in to ruin it. How pathetic.

What's with people constantly posting this? Is it not obvious that people play whatever they like because they like whatever it is that they're playing?

Damn.

Because we like to change it up instead of playing the exact same playlist over and over. I too watched the tournament. It was great. But there are players out there that don't want to stress about a match from start to finish.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

No.
*Zips flamesuit* I still enjoy Reach.

i see the OP's point, i recently been playing mlg a lot, and let me tell you when 2 evenly matched teams play an objective game in mlg it is probably the most intense/fun game you will ever play, but i do like to relax and play some btb heavies or team snipes or just regular objective and the occasional multi team/rumble

While Columbus WAS effing awesome, not everybody likes to play like that. Thousands enjoy regular slayer because the new additions are fun to them. At least enough enjoy MLG to make what happened today possible. Just be happy with that.

Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

This. It's sad to see that Reach had this much potential all along, but Bungie was too stubborn to admit that bloom was a misstep and offer ZB gametypes. MLG is great now, though.

Has it occured to anybody that they were in the middle of a power transition probably right from Reach's launch and, as such, probably didn't have time to effectively test no-bloom settings, especially knowing that 343 would probably just do so when they got it?

Bungie tweaked a bunch of in-game settings and tried to fix up the game that way, but they likely didn't have time to change in-game code knowledgably enough between launch and when they gave up their franchise.

So they had the time to do a playlist update nearly every month for things like lollivingdead, but no time to create a ZB gametype? 343 did it within a few weeks (iirc) of their takeover, there was no reason for Bungie not to.

ZB isn't even in Mainstream MM yet.

Yes, simple updates, but Bungie had more important things to focus on, especially knowing 343 could fix whatever problems there would be. Notice Bungie only tweaked easy things, not much actual code. I would be willing to bet that were Bungie to maintain control of the franchise, they would have updated the bloom.

I'm not racist, I own a colored TV

MLG is the best playlist in this game by far. This game sucks anyways though.

They were. People didn't care about getting paid, or sponsorships, or any of that -blam!-. People played because they wanted to be the best. Like Ghandi said "People only play Reach on the Circuit because they get paid to."

Well, you see, there is this thing call physical movement.

It works wonders! I can get up, turn on my xbox, and even put in Reach!

And then, using that little thing, I pick up my controller, start reach, and select a playlist other than MLG.

I hope this helped!

It's because the other playlists are much more laid back. Nothing wrong with that.

Living Dead is entertaining. I haven't been in any frustrating matches since I started playing again.

"Then you're not playing the MLG playlist" < that's the only acceptable way to end that sentence. Anything else is pointless.

Also halo isn't a spectator sport.
