Vinyl Scratch knows how to get the feeling alright
We are going to dance and party tonight
Tonight is the night that we're gonna lose it
So spin that record Vinyl Scratch, and never stop the music.

Bungie.net
343i.net

Why do you not simply write those?

OT: I believe bungie cares about their community, and since they are not going any where, we won't. A new game doesn't mean they need to ditch the community. In fact, people who are already big fans of bungie are going to be the ones to buy the game, so it would make sense for them to want to stay close to us.

It's not going anywhere.

There's a reason why this website is named bungie.net and not halo.net.

  • 03.25.2012 8:53 PM PDT

Nope, it'll stay Bungie.net! They're only removing Halo statistics for the moment.

If I put pancake mix in my X-Box 360 Disc drive will it make pancakes?

Bungie is it's own company. 343 Has no leverage of any sort over them. This site will be changed but only due to the webteam's demand.

Also, Bungie wasn't just Halo. They made other games...

Wow to be a deep halo fan you know nothing about Bungie at all.

Halo copyrights belong to Microsoft, but Bungie is a independent Video game developer studio, Bungie it's gonna keep doing video games and b.net belongs to Bungie, not Waypoint nor Microsoft.

Bungie.net is not closing down their site, nor any of their forums. They are turning off the stats and file share system on March 31, and that's it. Other than that, nothing is changing for the foreseeable future.

You will still be able to discuss Halo here, and/or, if you choose, you can discuss it at Halo Waypoint as well.

I am a fan, but I haven't had much time to spend on the site recently due to real life commitments. And I usually validify my statement of me being a fan with my dedication to the competitive aspect of online multiplayer Halo

We all have lives, it is understandable to not know what's going on. I've been here forever and still miss big announcements from time to time.

I've had a lot of good experiences on this site (as well as a few bad ones-)
How exactly do you have bad experiences on Bungie.net? Just wondering ...
